| １８４８年、革命が起こると共に、家族とともにアメリカへ移住する。そこで肖像画家として成功。イギリス人の芸術家 Walter Andeson と結婚。 | |||
| １８５４年、二人はイギリスへ渡る。１８５５年、ローヤル・アカデミーに風俗画を出品し始める。病弱のため、１８７１年に Capri に移り住む。最後に再びイギリスのFalmouth で住み、１９０３年に亡くなる。 | |||
